Based on 46 reviewsJade Garden Restaurant 聚苑补品楼 is widely recognized for its authentic and traditional Chinese herbal soups, praised for their nourishing qualities and health benefits. The establishment offers a niche dining experience with a focus on clean, wholesome food prepared with care. Customers consistently highlight the superior flavor of signature dishes, particularly the lobster broth and herbal soups, which are deemed worth their slightly premium pricing. Despite a limited menu selection, the quality of each dish maintains a high standard. The restaurant's intimate setting with limited seating contributes to a cozy atmosphere, complemented by friendly and attentive staff service. While parking remains a challenge due to limited availability, the overall dining experience attracts patrons seeking a balanced and revitalizing meal rooted in cultural tradition.
This is an awesome, unique and very niche restaurant that serves healthy food and nourishing herbal soup. The restaurant is clean, limited table inside and staff are very friendly. It's a worthwhile visit, but note that parking is limited.
Authentic traditional chinese Herbal soup. And serve some vege and meat dish. I believe this shop more then 50 years old.
When you need a booster or balance your body energy, jade garden is your place! #2022 price up - food standard maintain
The “superior broth” lobster is the best!!! kam heong lala is very flavourful. Lobster is definitely a must here.
Their soups are priced From around RM20 to RM30. Must try their signature pork. Slightly pricey but taste worth the money. Options of dishes are quite limited.
There are many factors that make you want to relive memories of the past when it comes to food - you always eat it when you were small, the food has the kind of old school taste you had in the past, or the food you had when you were studying in foreign places, etc. She told me that there's this place in Pudu area which she frequented during her college days in the city centre. Back in those days, she missed her parents' soup a lot, and she found comfort in this hidden restaurant in Jalan Tong Shin. Being a green girl just arriving in KL to pursue her study further.. this place stuck in her mind so much that she jio-ed me to the restaurant one day when we happened to be in the city centre. Parking is tricky in this area, and the restaurant is located under an old apartment where I had to walk up a flight of steel stairs just to reach it. The restaurant was very unassuming and it looked like the owners didn't do much to change the original look when they first started doing business. ◾Tonic Herbal Soup - using 10 herbs with black chicken, this soup is suitable for both men and women, and is purportedly good for tinnitus, heart deficiency, menstrual related issues and fatigue. ◾Alertness Herbal Soup - best for alertness, and mental + physical exhaustion among others, this soup is boiled using 7 different tonic and a quail. ◾Stir fried vegetable ◾Stir fried lean pork with homemade dark sauce - some protein to give me some energy for the rest of the day. The meat sloce were thin yet not overcooked and tough. Love it. Now the soup was very good and I know why she wanted to come back even after so many years. We had our lunch slowly and the satisfied look on her face told me that it was very well worth the effort.
Located in a quiet street of pandan perdana. Decided to try this restaurant since craving for soup. It was fairly quiet since the shop is closing soon. But I like it, less crowd, not much noise, eat in peace. Black chicken soup was light yet slightly flavorful. 一喝就喝得出是没放盐或msg。which is very rare to find nowadays. I really love the original taste. Recommend to try this. 招牌猪扒 is also good. It was tangy from vinegar and slightly sweet from honey. It was delicious. The ⭐ dish.... eggplant with basil pork. Omg 超好吃。很che饭!usually I eat half bowl rice...but because of this, I ordered 1 bowl rice. Super recommend this! I had a pleasant dinner with my family here. Aunty & another waiter were very friendly and nice. Will come back to try other soup!
